Join us for outdoor worship with communion each summer Sunday in the beauty of god's Creation, starting Sunday June 7 at 9:00 am (inside if it rains). Park close to our shelter behind the church: drive-in style (stay in your car), bring lawn chairs, or grab a picnic table. All are welcome!
The weather tomorrow may be iffy, but if it rains, we'll be inside. Tomorrow is Pastor Chapman's first day with us!

Come to church tomorrow for Trinity Sunday, the last Sunday indoors until September. The service starts at 9 am with Sunday School afterwards.

Today was the Bartonville Police Department's Pack the Cruiser food drive at the Bartonville Kroger's. The officers were outside the store from 10 to 2 and filled their police car with food donations. When it was full, they transferred the food to our pantry trailer. They filled their cruiser at least 6 times. We had pantry volunteers standing with the officers and helping collect monetary donations. Thank you to the Bartonville Police Department and Kroger's!

It's Pentecost, the end of the Easter season. Wear it if you have it! (Lutherans do it too!)

This Sunday is Pentecost, so you might want to have something red picked out to wear. This has become the custom in many Episcopal parishes.

Mother's Day at St. John. The kids passed out flowers to the gals again this year for Mother's Day. A crew put them together on Saturday, and the children enthusiastically handed them out at both services.

Starting next week we'll only have one service inside through the month of May at 9 am. Outside services will begin the first week in June.

We're still in the Christmas Season! Come tomorrow and sing carols, hear the Word, and celebrate Holy Communion.
