Our very 1st Sundaes at Sunset was a huge success! Even though God had other plans for the weather outside, this event was attended by approximately 40 members & friends of the congregation! Those in attendance enjoyed ice cream sundaes or root beer floats while being serenaded by Ryan Houck on acoustic guitar.
It was such a FUN night, it may come back in 2027! Even though we did not have a sunset on Sunday, it proves that we need to be patient because God works on God's time not our time!🍨

This Sunday, July 19, there will be NO worship service at the church at 9 a.m. but join us for our "Outdoor Worship Service" at Barto Park at 12 noon! The service is being led by Pat & LaVerne Moser, with the sermon given by LaVerne. Special music by the Kehs and Houck families! The church picnic will be held following worship! Join us in God's country, worshiping him and enjoying fellowship, good food and fun!

Just an FYI:
Congo-Niantic Road is closed between Hoffmansville road and Niantic Road, so you will have to "go around" and get into the parking lot of the church via Niantic Road. This detour is probably just during the week and normal work hours of 8 - 5 pm for the township workers. Pass the info onto those not on FB.

Beginning in July and running through August, we collect non-perishable food items for The Open Link. Each time you go grocery shopping or shop at the dollar store, pick up extra(s) for those with food insecurities. Drop donations off at the church. Thank you!

This Foodie Friday, we are sharing our Summer 2026 pantry needs!

This summer, our Pantry is most in need of:

🐔Canned chicken
🐟Canned tuna
🌭Condiments (mayo, mustard, ketchup)
🧃Fruit juice
🍎🥔Fresh produce (bags of apples, oranges, potatoes, onions, etc.)
🍝🍚Pasta and rice sides
🥣Kids’ cereal
🧁Baking mix
🌾Granola bars/breakfast bars
🐶🐱Pet food
🧴🧼Personal care and cleaning supplies (Most needed: shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body wash)
🚼Diapers

Interested in donating? You can drop off donations at our Penn Street location, 452 Penn Street, Pennsburg, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with extended hours on Tuesdays until 7:00 PM.

Please ensure all items donated are within a good expiration date.

This past Sunday, May 31, we celebrated with Tenley and Gio as they re-affirmed their baptism and were Confirmed during the service. They presented their "Faith Talks" during the service and enjoyed cake after the service. We thank their teachers: Denise and Gerry, their families, supply Pastor; Rev. Dr. Brad Mellon and the members of the congregation for supporting them! May God continue to bless you in your faith journey!

The Mother's Day collection of Feminine and Incontinence supplies, that our Mercy Ministry committee made a plea for, is packed and ready to be delivered to Boyertown Multi-Service for Preston's Pantry. We thank all the members who purchased for this worthy cause! We are helping our neighbors in need of supplies not covered by SNAP.
