We are thrilled to share that, after much prayer, discussion, and careful planning, we have merged with Journey of Hope🎉

This merger marks a significant turning point as we come together as one united body to serve God's purpose with renewed passion and enthusiasm. By joining forces, we believe that we can make an even greater impact on our community and the world around us.

We will be closed during the summer months while we re-brand and renovate some of the property. Please join us in Elgin & online throughout the week for worship!

SUNDAY @ 9:15am
WEDNESDAY @ 6pm
THURSDAY @ 7am

We will relaunch in September so stay tuned for details of that event.

Hello and good morning! I hope you're all having a wonderful week and staying safe. Today's devotional from the upper room comes from Isaiah 55:10. "Just as the rain and snow come down from the sky and don't return from there without watering the earth... so is my word that comes from my mouth; it does not return to me empty. Instead, it does what I want, and accomplishes what I intend." This comes from the Common English Bible translation and I think with the weather we've been having this week it is a truly beautiful message. Christ works through us in everything. Even when we don't necessarily see God at work in our lives nothing comes back empty.

Grace and peace to you as we enter into the Lenten season. Last night was a real doozy! Unfortunately the weather prevented us from gathering for our Ash Wednesday / Covenant Renewal Service (and made the drive home exciting to say the least) so we will be holding it this Sunday. I hope to see you all bright and early this Sunday for Ash Sunday!

This week we start our new lenten study immediately after service! Don't worry there will still be snacks and coffee. Bible study will be in levans hall around the block table, meet us for discussion on what it means to !

Don't forget our Ash Wednesday service is this week! This year we'll be doing a covenant renewal service for Ash Wednesday so I wouldn't want to miss it. Hope to see you all at 6PM for service!
