Saturday was a blast! 💥

Last Saturday, we opened up our building for a fun day of friendly competition, bringing moms and sons together for a chance to connect, laugh, and make memories!

It was such a great time—not only bonding as a family, but also connecting with the community here at New Hope. ❤️

This month, we’re highlighting Johnson University, and we wanted to hear from someone with first-hand experience. Camille is a recent graduate who focused on Student Ministry during her time there, and she’s sharing how Johnson helped prepare her to pursue a career in ministry.

Take a few minutes to watch Camille’s story and hear how her experience equipped her to step more confidently into student ministry and find a full-time ministry position.

We’re so grateful for the support Johnson University provides to students—not only those pursuing ministry careers, but students preparing for careers in a variety of fields. Through a strong foundation in Bible and Theology, Johnson equips students with the biblical knowledge, practical skills, and heart they need to be part of the Great Commission wherever God calls them.

Our Lord’s Prayer series continued this morning as our Student Pastor, Justin Sutherland focused on Matthew 6:10: “your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

We are called to be ambassadors of God’s kingdom here on earth. In doing so, how can you use your gifts, works, and talents to glorify God?

This month, we’re highlighting Johnson University—a Christian university in Knoxville, Tennessee, passionate about preparing students with biblical wisdom, practical leadership skills, and a heart for fulfilling the Great Commission.

With a foundation in Bible and Theology, we’re grateful for Johnson’s partnership, their commitment to raising up the next generation of Christ-followers, and how they support New Hope students who decide to pursue an education at their University.

As the school year begins, let’s pray for their students, faculty, and staff as they live out their mission to bring glory to God and hope to the world.
