Bartlesville Oklahoma Stake News A site sharing inspiration and information for friends and members of the Bartlesville Oklahoma Stake A stake is sometimes referred to as a "stake of Zion."

The Bartlesville Oklahoma Stake consists of the Bison Trail, Cleveland, Independence, Ponca City, and Silver Lake Wards as well as the Blackwell, Parsons, Pawhuska, and Vista (Spanish) Branches. A stake is an administrative unit composed of multiple congregations within a geographical area. A stake is approximately comparable to a deanery in the Catholic Church, or perhaps to a diocese in some oth

er denominations. The name "stake" derives from the verse "enlarge the place of thy tent; stretch forth the curtains of thine habitation; spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes".

We are excited to announce our upcoming Bartlesville Stake Conference. This is a vital time for our stake family to gather, to be strengthened, and to receive guidance and peace.
All members, friends, and investigators are warmly invited to attend.

Stake service project March 1st at 9 AM. Our stake has partnered with the organization Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP). SHP is devoted to providing beds for children. Come help stake members build beds for children in need.

At SHP, we fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional and mental support that a child needs.
