Who is in your circle?

In Mark 2:1-12, four friends refused to let obstacles keep them from getting someone to Jesus. Their faith reminds us that sometimes we need people who will help carry us to Christ—and we need to be willing to do the same for others.

This week, we explored Jesus’ power to forgive sins, the freedom He purchased through His sacrifice, and the question we all must answer: Are we walking in the freedom Christ has already given us?

Watch this week’s message and be encouraged by the hope and freedom found in Jesus.

We are excited to announce this event for next Saturday. We would like to ask that you join us in prayer over it. Our prayer has been that Kingdom matters would take place amongst the fun and fellowship planned.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend—it is a sacred reminder of the incredible cost of freedom.

As we reflect, we are reminded of the words of Jesus:

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

While no earthly sacrifice compares to Christ’s ultimate gift, we are deeply grateful for those who willingly laid down their lives so that others could live in freedom.

Join us today in remembering the fallen, praying for the families who carry their loss, and thanking God for the blessings we so often take for granted.

We remember. We honor. We give thanks. 🇺🇸✝️

In Mark 1:40–45, we meet a man everyone had written off—isolated, unclean, and without hope.

But desperation drove him to Jesus with a simple yet powerful declaration: *“If you are willing, you can make me clean.”* He didn’t doubt Christ’s power—he surrendered to His will.

Then Jesus did the unthinkable. He touched him.

The one everyone else avoided, Christ moved towards with compassion. Jesus didn’t just heal the man physically—He restored what had been lost.

This miracle points us straight to the cross. Jesus took the place of the outcast so we could be brought near.

“He Came for This”

In Mark 1:29–39, we see the heart of Jesus—compassionate toward the hurting, powerful over sickness and darkness, and purposeful in His mission.

Jesus didn’t just come to impress crowds—He came to heal, to restore, to proclaim the good news, and ultimately to save.

Take a few minutes to watch this week’s message and be reminded why He came.

Today we celebrate the incredible mothers of New Hope Church. 🌸

Your love reflects the heart of Christ in so many ways — through your prayers, your sacrifices, your strength, your kindness, and the countless unseen moments where you pour into your families and those around you. Thank you for being examples of faith, grace, and unconditional love.

Whether you are a mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, or someone who lovingly cares for others, we honor you today and thank God for the impact you make every single day.

“Her children arise and call her blessed…” — Proverbs 31:28

We pray today that you feel deeply appreciated, encouraged, and surrounded by the love of God. May the Lord strengthen you, bless your home, and remind you that your labor in love is never unnoticed.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at New Hope Church. 💚

There is something different about Jesus.

In Gospel of Mark 1:21–34, the crowds were astonished because Jesus didn’t speak like everyone else — He spoke with authority.
He taught with authority.
He commanded unclean spirits with authority.
He healed with authority.

This Sunday at New Hope Church, we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark with a message titled: “With Authority.”

If you’re weary, searching, hurting, or simply hungry for more of God, we invite you to come encounter the One who still changes lives today.

This Sunday’s message: “Follow Me”

In the Gospel of Mark 1:16–20, Jesus gives a simple but life-altering call: “Follow Me.”
No long explanation. No detailed roadmap. Just an invitation—and a decision.

The first disciples responded immediately. They left what was comfortable, what was familiar, and stepped into something greater.

The question is… how will we respond?

As we continue our journey through Mark, this message challenges us to examine our own hearts:
Are we truly following Jesus, or just staying close enough to feel comfortable?
