I have been packing and came across a hand written note from my grandmother. It is well over sixty years ago when she wrote this:

A task without a vision is drudgery
A vision without a task is just a dream
A task with vision is victory!

When we do things without a vision, drudgery will set in.
When we have a vision yet never follow through to do it, it will only remain a dream.
But, when we have vision and do the do, victory will come shining through! / Tammy

On this special day we remember and honor the military U.S. personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

We are forever grateful for their sacrifice to ensure our freedoms. Because of their sacrifice we have the privilege to walk in freedoms, which those we honor today, are no longer able to do. These freedoms came with a very high price.

We encourage you to take a moment to share with your family and friends the purpose for this day - to give honor and gratitude to those who gave their all for our country. Perhaps the greatest way we can honor our fallen, this Memorial Day, is by rededicating ourselves to the work of ensuring they did not die in vain.
