Did you know ...

The New Testament distinguishes three groups:

“Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:32

So Scripture recognizes:

• Jews
• Gentiles
• The Church

The Church contains believing Jews and believing Gentiles united in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:11–22 teaches their spiritual unity, but unity does not erase their identities or transfer every promise made to national Israel to the Church.

Romans 11 makes this clear. Gentile believers are grafted into Israel’s spiritual blessings. They do not replace Israel or become the natural branches. Paul warns Gentile believers against boasting over those branches.

Romans 11:1 asks, “Has God cast away His people?” Paul answers, “Certainly not!”

Romans 11:25–29 says Israel experienced a partial and temporary blindness until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. Paul then says God’s gifts and calling toward Israel are irrevocable.

Galatians 3:28 means Jews and Gentiles have equal standing in Jesus Christ. It does not mean ethnic Israel ceased to exist. Salvation creates one spiritual body while God’s covenant purposes for Israel continue.

The Church has not replaced Israel. The Church consists of believing Jews and Gentiles united in Jesus Christ.

We share in Israel’s spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, but we do not erase Israel, rename ourselves Israel, or cancel God’s promises to Abraham’s natural descendants.

Did you know ...

God is sovereign (King over all creation), but not in charge of all created beings.

Didn't God create all things? Yes
So God controls all things? No
Isn't God all powerful though? Yes
Then God can do anything? Depends
Doesn't God know all things? Yes
So then God allows bad things? No

The power to do, and the power to control are not the same.

Just because God knows, it doesn't mean He chose.

God gave Adam and Eve dominion over the Earth.

Adam and Eve gave satan their dominion over the Earth, which in return put him in charge of the world and it's systems.

Because of that, people are now born with a resistance towards God and His Word, and an acceptance of satan and the sin nature.

Because of free will and sin, God has to permit the opposite of His will, His plans, and His blessings in our personal lives and the world. The full release of the blessing flowing through our lives unrestrained, is hindered and even stopped.

God has limits when it comes to our choices.

(Psalm 78:41 NKJV) "Yes, again and again they tempted God, And limited the Holy One of Israel."

Until the sin system cycles out and Jesus Christ refines the heavens and the earth by fire, making all things new, the impact of sin will continue you to work against God's plan for man.

However, JESUS starts a brand new life on the inside of the born-again Believer, baptized by the Holy Spirit and fire. We are a shadow of the things to come in the eternal future.

The power of the Blood, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, directs us into that new reality now from the inside out.

You can now choose God's will freely of the domination of sin over you. Every single time.

Think About It:
Sin is a spiritually transmitted disease. Only the Blood of Jesus, applied by faith, cleanses your sin and cancels its penalty. Only the Holy Spirit gives new life to your spirit, which was dead and unresponsive to God because of sin. This is what Jesus called being born again.
