⛪✝️The Communion Table occupies the central position in our open chancel arrangement. This is to emphasize the importance of Holy Communion as one of the two sacraments of the church.

The central position for the Communion Table indicates an emphasis upon the total experience of worship rather than one part of it, as the sermon. The table is placed on the level of the congregation with the clergy and choir benches to the back and the congregational pews in front - emphasizing the people's direct access.

👀 Meals on Wheels - Bartlesville. Did you know...

- Meals on Wheels- Bartlesville, has been serving the homebound community meals 3 times a week since 1971?

- It is 100% volunteer led! No staff = no salaries and no government commodities or support (MOW-Bville is its own non-profit and is not affiliated with the nationally led program).

-Food is stored and prepared at First Presbyterian. From 8:30am-12pm, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, volunteer-led teams are cooking, packing, and delivering up to 65 freshly made meals throughout the city.

Are you able to help?

- Cooking teams are often groups of 4 friends who sign up together to socialize and cook - you could schedule 1 time a month. OR please feel free to reach out, join a group, and make new friendships!

- Drivers drive an established delivery route, usually blocking out the time from 10:30am-noon to pick-up and deliver. Meal recipients love getting to know their drivers and are very appreciative!

Tend the sick, Lord Christ, give rest to the weary, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous, and all for Your love's sake. Amen.
