We exist to love God, love people, and help people know and love God.

But what does it actually look like to help someone know God?

This Sunday, we'll talk about why reaching people isn't about programs—it's about people. One person. One relationship. One next step toward Jesus.

Who is your one?

Join us Sunday in person or online!
9:00am - Traditional Service (Building 1)
10:27am - TEN27 Contemporary Service (Building 3)

This weekend at First Wesleyan Church will be one we will never forget.

After 35 years of faithful pastoral ministry, Pastor Joe Colaw will preach his final sermon as Lead Pastor of First Wesleyan Church. It is also the conclusion of our Colossians sermon series — a series that has continually pointed us back to the supremacy, sufficiency, and transforming power of Jesus Christ.

In Colossians 4:7–18, Paul closes his letter with what first appears to be a list of names and final greetings. But hidden within those final words is something much deeper: the heartbeat of a pastor, the beauty of Gospel-centered community, and the legacy of lives faithfully lived together for Christ.

In this powerful farewell message, “The Gospel Lived… and Left Behind,” Pastor Joe reflects on ten characteristics of a healthy church — a church that informs, encourages, welcomes, comforts, prays for, strengthens, and remembers one another. It is a message about living the Gospel together… and faithfully passing the mission on to the next generation.

This will be more than a sermon.
It will be a sacred moment of gratitude, blessing, transition, and hope for the future God has prepared for our church family.

Join us Sunday as we worship together, celebrate God’s faithfulness through Pastor Joe and Dawn Marie’s ministry, and look ahead with confidence to what Christ will continue to do through His Church.

“The church does not rest on one man. It rests on Jesus Christ.”

Join us in person or online:
9:00am - Traditional service in Church Sanctuary (Building 1)
10:27am - Contemporary service in CEC Gym (Building 3)

Somewhere along the way, Christians became more known for what we’re against than what we’re for. But what if the gospel was always meant to sound like good news? This Sunday we’re talking about why holiness is more than just avoiding sin, why grace is active, and what Paul meant when he said our words should be “salty.” Jesus didn’t call us to live bland, joyless lives—He called us to bring hope, love, forgiveness, and life to the world around us. Join us this Sunday as we learn how to stop being “no people” and start living attractive, grace-filled lives that point people to Jesus.

10:27am - Contemporary service in the CEC Gym (Building 3)
