2 Corinthians 4:3–4
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom

the god of this world hath blinded the minds

of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

One of the greatest dangers we face today isn't physical blindness. It's spiritual blindness.

The Bible warns us that Satan, the god of this world, works to blind people's minds so they cannot see the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And think about how much competes for our attention today.

Social media. Entertainment. Money. Material possessions. Politics. Pride. Fear and the constant pressure to fit in with a world that increasingly moves away from God's Word.

Not everything that distracts us is sinful, but anything that takes our attention away from God can become dangerous when we allow it to take priority over Him.

The enemy doesn't always have to convince someone that God doesn't exist. Sometimes deception and distraction are enough to keep a person from seriously seeking Him.

Don't allow the world's noise to become louder than God's voice.
Don't allow popular opinions to replace biblical truth.
Don't become so consumed with temporary things that you lose sight of what is eternal.
And don't mistake what the world celebrates for what God approves.

Ask yourself today:
Am I allowing God's Word to shape my thinking, or am I allowing the world to shape how I understand God's Word?
We must be intentional about what we watch, what we listen to, what we believe, and what we allow to influence our hearts.

Stay prayerful. Stay in the Word. Guard your mind. Test what you hear and most importantly Keep your eyes on JESUS

Has Jesus ever done something in your life that nobody could talk you out of?

John 9:24–25 says “Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.”
They tried to pull this man into an argument.

He gave them a testimony.
He did not have an answer for every accusation.
He simply knew that before Jesus touched his life, he was blind—and afterward, he could see.

There is something powerful about what God has personally done for you.
People may question your faith.
They may challenge what you believe.
They may even misunderstand your testimony.
But they cannot change what Jesus has done.

Today, let us come together and worship the One who opened our eyes, changed our lives, and gave us a testimony.

Matthew 6:22–23 says "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!”

What are we feasting on every day—and then wondering why we feel spiritually weak?

Some of us spend minutes in the Word but hours consuming opinions, personalities, entertainment, reels, and influencers.

Then one 30-second video plants a seed.

A question becomes doubt.
Doubt becomes fascination.
Fascination becomes agreement.
And eventually something we spent years building with God begins to weaken and eventually die.

Jesus said the eye affects the whole body. What we continually allow before our eyes does not remain outside of us. It enters our thinking, influences our desires, and eventually reaches the heart.

We cannot constantly feed the flesh and expect the spirit to remain strong.
Guard your eyes. Guard your heart. Guard your home. Guard what you are passing to the next generation.

Before you open another feed today, open the Word.

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” — Psalm 19:14

We will often rise or fall based on what we allow to remain inside us.
What we entertain in the heart does not stay hidden forever. Thoughts become attitudes. Attitudes shape words. And words often reveal what has been living beneath the surface.
That is why David did not only pray about his mouth. He prayed about his heart too.
Some of us do not merely need to change how we speak. We need God to deal with what we have been allowing to stay inside.
Bitterness. Pride. Fear. Lust. Anger. Envy. Unforgiveness. Carnality.
The question today is simple:
What have we been allowing?
Lord, let what lives in my heart and what comes out of my mouth be acceptable in Your sight.
What is one thing you know God is asking you to stop entertaining?

Have you ever tried to give God something He didn’t ask for… while avoiding the thing He did ask for?

1 Samuel 15:22 “To obey is better than sacrifice…”
That was Saul’s problem.

He disobeyed God, then tried to make it sound spiritual by pointing to sacrifice. But God was not impressed with the offering, because the real issue was obedience.
That still speaks today.
It’s possible to be active in church, say the right things, and still resist God in a specific area of life. We can try to replace surrender with activity, but God still desires obedience more than performance.
Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do is stop explaining, stop delaying, and simply say:

“Yes, Lord.”

Is there an area in your life where God has been asking for obedience, but you’ve been offering Him something else instead?

Jesus said in Matthew 24:13
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

Jesus did not say the one who starts well shall be saved. He said the one who endures unto the end.

Scripture speaks of salvation as something God has already begun in us, something we are presently walking in, and something that will ultimately be completed when we reach the end of the race.

Through Jesus, we can be delivered from the dominion of sin. We can repent, be baptized in Jesus’ name, receive the Holy Ghost, and begin walking in newness of life. But we have not reached the finish line yet!

There is still a race to run.
There is still a faith to keep.
There is still a cross to carry.
There is still an end to endure unto.

That is why we cannot treat salvation like a one-time moment that removes the need for continued faithfulness.

Redemption gives us freedom from sin’s slavery, but our ultimate salvation is fully realized when we finish the course and enter into eternal life with Jesus.

Do not stop because you once had an experience with God.
Keep walking. Keep believing. Keep obeying.

Endure unto the end!

One Touch Can Change Everything
Matthew 14:36
“And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.”
There is something powerful about the faith in this verse.

They were not asking for a long explanation. They were not demanding a sign first. They believed that if they could just get close enough to Jesus to touch the hem of His garment, that would be enough.
And Scripture says, “as many as touched were made perfectly whole.”

That is what happens when desperate faith reaches for Jesus.

Sometimes we overcomplicate what we need most. We look for answers everywhere else, carry burdens longer than we should, and exhaust ourselves trying to fix what only Jesus can make whole.
But this verse reminds us that the answer was not in the garment itself. The power was in the One wearing it.

Jesus was, and still is, the source.
So whatever is broken, wounded, weak, or incomplete in your life, do not stay at a distance.

Reach for Him, het close to Jesus because one touch from Him can change everything.

We sincerely apologize that we were unable to livestream tonight’s service due to an unexpected camera issue.

The good news is that the issue has been resolved, and we are looking forward to being back online this Sunday, October 11, at 10:00 AM!

Be Careful What You Keep Hearing
Mark 4:24 KJV
“And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.”
Jesus did not only tell us to hear.
He told us to take heed what we hear.
That means what we allow into our minds matters. What we repeatedly listen to, entertain, agree with, and dwell on is shaping something in us. Truth received with hunger produces growth. But carelessness with what we hear can weaken discernment, dull conviction, and slowly move us away from the voice of God.
Then Jesus adds something else: “unto you that hear shall more be given.” In other words, when we respond rightly to the Word of God, God gives more. More understanding. More clarity. More growth. More light.
The issue is not just whether sound reaches our ears.

The issue is what kind of heart receives it.
So today, guard what you are feeding your spirit. Be intentional about what you hear, and be just as intentional about how you respond when God speaks.

What you keep hearing will help shape who you are becoming.
