"He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man..." — Proverbs 21:17

Our world constantly encourages us to seek comfort, entertainment, and instant gratification.

But Scripture reminds us that a life devoted only to pleasure often comes at the expense of something far more valuable.

The greatest blessings in life usually require sacrifice.

A strong marriage requires commitment.
A strong family requires investment.
A strong walk with God requires prayer, faithfulness, and devotion.

Temporary pleasure can satisfy for a moment, but purpose produces lasting fruit.

Today, choose what matters most.

🌱 Don't trade your future harvest for temporary comfort.

"He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends." — Proverbs 17:9

One of the greatest tests of Christian maturity is what we do with someone else's failure.

It's easy to repeat a story.
It's easy to revisit an offense.
It's easy to keep bringing up what someone did wrong.

But Scripture teaches us that love seeks restoration.

When God forgives us, He doesn't continually remind us of every failure. He offers mercy, grace, and a path forward. As followers of Christ, we are called to extend that same spirit to others.

Today, choose healing over hurt.
Choose restoration over repetition.
Choose love over division.

❤️ Someone may need the same grace today that you needed yesterday.

Share this with someone who needs encouragement.

"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life..." — 1 Timothy 6:12

Life is full of battles.

Some battles are temporary.
Some battles are earthly.
But the word of God reminds us that there is one fight that matters above all others—the fight of faith.

Faith is choosing to trust God when circumstances are difficult.
Faith is remaining faithful when the world pulls in the opposite direction.
Faith is continuing to pray, believe, obey, and persevere even when the outcome isn't yet visible.

The Christian life was never promised to be easy, but it was promised to be worth it.

Don't quit.
Don't give up.
Don't let go of what God has called you to.

Keep fighting the good fight.

🔥 Heaven is worth every battle.

Comment "I'm still fighting" if you're determined to stay faithful.

“Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth...” — Matthew 13:5-6

The seed wasn't the problem.
The soil was.

Jesus described people who receive the Word with joy, but because the roots never grow deep, they struggle when trials, pressure, or difficulties come.

What creates shallow soil?

Sometimes it's not what we think.

The stones can be pride.
Anger.
Unforgiveness.
Lust.
Envy.
Offense.
Stubbornness.
A wounded spirit.
The belief that we're justified in holding onto hurt (I have a right to feel this way...).

These hidden stones harden the heart and limit what God's Word can accomplish in us.

Today, don't just ask God to bless you with more truth.

Ask Him to remove every stone that keeps His truth from taking root.

Deep roots begin with a surrendered heart.

Who will commit to surrendering their heart today?

Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.

And what do we find Lazarus doing afterward?

Sitting at the table with Jesus.

“There they made him a supper… and Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.” — John 12:2

That’s gratitude.
That’s relationship.
That’s someone who remembered what Jesus had done for him.

Sadly, many people experience God’s mercy, deliverance, and blessing… only to slowly drift away afterward.

Jesus saves them from sin, but they return to the very things He delivered them from.

He answers prayers for provision, promotion, and opportunity… but now there’s “no time” for Him.

He restores their life…
and they spend little of that restored life in His presence.

Lazarus reminds us that when Jesus gives you life, the proper response is to stay close to Him.

Don’t let blessings pull you away from the One who gave them.

🔥 Let’s be people who choose the table with Jesus.

“And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.” — Exodus 24:15

Moses experienced something powerful because he was willing to separate himself and climb higher.

Elijah would later do the same and he would get a glimpse of the power of God

Many remained below while Moses went upward. The mountain represented more than elevation — it represented separation, surrender, and pursuit of God's presence.

Sometimes we want deeper experiences with God while still holding tightly to every distraction, every noise, and every care around us.

But throughout scripture, God often called people away before He called them higher.

The crowd stayed below.

The question for us today is simple:

Are we willing to climb the mountain?

If we are then this promise is to you:

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” — James 4:8

Brothers and Sisters sometimes the hedge Jesus places around us feels restrictive…
until you realize it was protecting you the whole time.

God places boundaries, convictions, standards, and spiritual fences in our lives for a reason. Not to harm us — but to protect us.

A fence may seem like it keeps you from something good…
but most fences actually keep dangerous things OUT.

Prayer is a hedge.
Holiness is a hedge.
Godly standards are a hedge.
The Word of God is a hedge.

The enemy loves convincing people to tear down the very protections God placed around them and unfortunately many have done so only to realize... the grass may be greener but the cost... is higher

Stay inside what God has established.
There is protection in obedience. Every time I've gone outside the hedges God placed in my life I've gotten what I wanted only to find out...I didn't need it, the satisfaction was short lived and... the cost... was far greater than I wanted to pay.

“Whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” — Ecclesiastes 10:8

Don't know who needs to hear this today but understand it's my love for my children that lead me to create boundaries for them... it's our father's love for you and I that leads him to create boundaries for us

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service and sacrifice for others.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend.
It is a reminder that freedom has a cost.

As we remember those who never made it home, we also remember the ultimate example of sacrificial love found in Jesus Christ — who willingly gave His life so we could have eternal hope and freedom.

May we live with gratitude.
May we honor courage.
May we never forget sacrifice.

🇺🇸 God bless the families of the fallen.
🇺🇸 God bless those who serve.
🇺🇸 God bless America.

Before there was an Upper Room in Acts 2…
there was a temple dedication in 2 Chronicles 7.

Solomon prayed.
The sacrifice was offered.
And suddenly, fire came down from heaven and the glory of the Lord filled the house.

Centuries later, in another upper room, believers gathered together in prayer again… and once again heaven responded. Fire fell. The Spirit moved. And the house was filled with the glory and power of God.

Pentecost reminds us that God still responds to hungry hearts.

He is still filling people with His Spirit.
He is still changing lives.
He is still pouring out His presence on those who seek Him.

Today is not just another Sunday.
Come expecting.
Come hungry.
Come ready for God to move.

🔥 Join us today for Pentecost Sunday — 10:00 AM
