Happy Birthday, Blessed Mother! 💙

On Tuesday, September 8, we celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Join us in honoring Mary with a special prayer and blessing at Daily Mass on Tuesday, September 8 at 8:15 a.m. and the Rosary later that evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel.

As we grow closer to Mary, she always leads us closer to her Son.

Mary, Mother of Jesus, pray for us and lead us always to Him. 🙏

We’ll kick off this special month at Saint Anne with our Season of Creation Novena, beginning September 1 following the 8:15 a.m. Daily Mass.

Inspired by this year’s theme, “Living Water,” the upcoming month will offer many opportunities to pray, reflect and celebrate God’s creation together. 💧🌎

2026 Almsgiving results are official - FaithJustice EXCEEDS its $40,000 Goal!

Saint Anne’s response to this year’s Almsgiving campaign was truly incredible! Together, our parish community helped raise $133,066 for Mother of Good Counsel in Hazard, Kentucky, more than tripling our $40,000 goal.

Through the generosity of our parishioners, families, friends and a matching grant from Catholic Extension donors, we are helping bring hope and support to an Appalachian community in need.

After 27 years of faithful service, Sarge is retiring from his dedicated work as our parish maintenance supervisor.

For nearly three decades, he has been a steady and familiar presence, offering his time, care, and commitment in ways that have blessed our community.

We are deeply grateful for the pride he has taken in his work, the kindness he has shown to so many, and the quiet dedication that has helped make our parish a welcoming place. His years of service leave a lasting mark, and we give thanks for all he has done.

Please join us in congratulating Sarge on his well-earned retirement and wishing him every blessing in his next chapter!

In this weekend’s Homily, Deacon Kevin Horcher tells us about the Canaanite woman who refused to walk away. She persisted, humbled herself, and trusted Jesus, even when the answer she was seeking didn’t come immediately.

Her story reminds us that sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply refusing to give up.

And sometimes, the people and life situations we find “inconvenient” are actually invitations to love more deeply, grow in faith, and see God at work.
