Midweek Homily Check-In

This Sunday, we reflected on the mystery of the Holy Trinity. Fr. Rodolfo Ramirez explained how St. Patrick famously used a shamrock to help explain it: three leaves, yet one shamrock. In the same way, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three Persons in one God.

But the Trinity is more than a mystery to understand, it’s a call to open our own mysteries to others, creating bonds of love, community and unity.

As the rest of this week continues, consider: When was the last time you had a truly meaningful conversation with someone you love, or even approached someone you don’t know? Who might God be inviting you to connect with today?

Today we celebrate the Holy Trinity and our belief in one God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Father created us.
The Son became human as Jesus to save us.
The Holy Spirit lives and works in us.

They are not three gods, but one God united in perfect love. ✝️

We are excited to share that the Saint Anne community will be part of the 2026 Barrington Fourth of July Parade!🇺🇸

This year’s celebration will be especially exciting as America marks 250 years of independence, and as we welcome our new pastor, Fr. Chris Ciastoń, who will be joining us on the parade route.

We invite parishioners, school families, and friends of all ages to be part of this morning celebrating our country and our Barrington area community.

Please sign up to walk with us at the link below and if you have a vehicle that could be featured in the parade,
please email [email protected].

This Memorial Day, we remember those who gave their lives in service to our country and reflect on the deeper meaning of sacrifice, unity, and love.

Jesus says, “I am the vine; you are the branches,” reminding us that true strength and purpose come from remaining connected to Him and to one another. Just as branches cannot survive apart from the vine, we cannot truly flourish apart from God and one another.

May we honor the fallen not only with words, flags, or ceremonies, but by living lives rooted in gratitude, service, and love.
