Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House is committed to fostering the spiritual development of Catholics and other people of faith through a variety of contemporary programs and retreats following the Spiritual Exercises of St. In brief, the Spiritual Exercises are a "pathway to God;" a way to experience union with God through personal prayer and contemplation. During the retreat there are times for priva

te reflection and public worship. Each day, Mass is celebrated and optional devotions are offered for those wishing to participate. The Jesuits on staff are available throughout the weekend for counseling and confession. Don't let the structure get in the way! When you come to the quiet you are away from the struggles and despairs of daily life. Take time to sit, walk, think, meditate. Use the personal silence as a way to gain better perspective on the challenges in your life and to deeper your connection to our loving and faithful God.

A bit of news from Bellarmine and deep connections to our global Church.

This summer, Bellarmine has been working on a new well to secure a reliable water source for the retreat house. Yesterday, the drilling team reached water at 750 feet! Alleluia!

And on this same day, Pope Leo XIV began his September prayer intention: for the care of water.

Please pray with us for the successful completion of our well project and for all those around the world who lack access to clean, reliable water.
