This past Sunday, 32 young families and young adults gathered at pastor's house for a time of shared fellowship over a meal. It was a wonderful time as everyone got to know those in their church family more.

Thankful for our partnership with The Community Meal and all the CM and St. Matthew volunteers that come together each month to make meals, fellowship, and relationships like this possible each month! Stop by Thursday May 21st at 5PM for our next meal!

St. Matthew is overjoyed to share that our congregation has voted to move forward with a reimagined outdoor courtyard that is not just for us, but for our neighbors.

This new courtyard will include a spacious paver patio, a serving area for gatherings, a seating wall, canopies for shade, and plenty of tables and chairs to create a place where conversations can linger and community can flourish.

What makes this especially moving is that very significant support has already come from organizations and individuals OUTSIDE our congregation. These are friends who believe deeply in the work St. Matthew is doing and want to encourage our mission to love and serve our local neighbors in intentional and repeated ways.

This courtyard will give us a dedicated space to welcome, bless, and engage the people who live closest to us. It will make it easier to host community events, share meals, build relationships, and create moments of joy and connection. In short, it will be a place where hospitality becomes visible and where love takes up space. Christkindlmarkt, Oktoberfest, Easter Eggstravaganza, Community Meals, and other neighborhood-oriented events will never be the same.

We can’t wait to see how God uses this new courtyard to draw people together and deepen the bonds of community right here in our neighborhood. Once member pledges have been received, work can begin in earnest!

Kids Camp VBS registration is now open!
Join us for a tropical island adventure where kids will learn how Jesus came to seek and save the lost.

Kids Camp VBS will be held June 6-10
9 AM - 12 PM
For children Preschool (3 years old) through 5th grade.
Children 6th grade and older can join in the fun and register as Jr. Helpers!

We cannot wait to see you this summer!
