This is a public notice and inquiry to all residents: the Barrett Station Evergreen Cemetery ("BSEC") is looking for descendants of the Seals, Carmical and Cartwright Families who have family members buried in a historical cemetery off of US Old Beaumont Highway 90 just west of the San Jacinto River, in Sheldon, Texas.
This is a very historical cemetery, as we see a grave of a Mr. Sydney Johnson Seals who was born in 1863, deceased in 1955. Also, there's a James Cartwright Sr. - born in 1937, deceased in May 1967. And, a James Cartwright, Jr. - birth/death dates unknown.
If any possible relatives read this message and want more details about this historical family cemetery that is in danger of being developed over, please call the BSEC office, at (281) 670-8133.

On Saturday - November 13th, beginning at 2:00 p.m., Officer Lemmie Cain will be remembered with a brief memorial at the Barrett Station Evergreen Cemetery - All community residents are invited to attend this event.

Lemmie Cain, Jr. served as a Baytown Police Officer from 1957 to 1961. Although employed by Harris County Constable Department – Precinct 3, he wore a Baytown Police Department uniform
