Connecting Hope is a Christian non-profit network of local churches who seek to provide HOPE, help, and support to Central Vermonters who lack the support and resources required to meet their basic daily needs. We do this by providing goods and assistance, where possible, to help stabilize families in need and by working with families to help them become b

etter prepared to meet their own needs, creating a brighter future. Some of this assistance is provided by individual congregants, some by existing church ministries, and still other types of assistance are provided by networking with local community organizations to build a team of support for folks who may have started with little or none. The theme is always about coming together to support one another just as Christ did for those He encountered in need. Together, we can give new life to our community. Many hands make HOPE!

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief has asked Enough Ministries to deploy to North Carolina 9-16 November for feeding. We are seeking a few additional either SBDR trained or untrained people handy in the kitchen to round out our team. Cathy and I will lead the team. Dates do not include 2 days travel each way.

The 2024 Wheels for Warmth event is scheduled: Thursday, October 24 through Saturday, October 26. 

💚 Recycle or donate your old tires, and help provide emergency heating assistance to vulnerable Vermonters this winter. Wheels for Warmth is an annual event that provides a boost to emergency heating and fuel assistance programs for Vermonters.

All funds collected are redistributed to those in need and will help to keep our community warm all season long. Locations and times are confirmed, and details will be available soon via or www.wheelsforwarmth.org

We look forward to another successful year! 💪

Busy Bubble is the official home of Barre Congregational Church’s “Laundry Love” ❤️ program. For those in need of free laundry services, bring your dirty clothes, sheets and towels to Busy Bubble on Monday, January 22nd from 6-8:30pm! Darlene Clark, who runs the program, will be there to help you get your stuff washed, free of charge 🫧

BCK Real Estate/William Raveis along with Connecting Hope, Enough Ministries and the Hope Coalition are collecting unwrapped toys for kids and gifts for parents to help those in our community affected by the July flood.
Donate your unwrapped gift to William Raveis in Barre by 12/11. Everything collected will be brought to the Barre Auditorium for the “Santa Says Sorry” event 12/16.
