This Easter, we rejoice in the hope, joy, and victory found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. What a blessing it was to celebrate the empty tomb and the promise of new life through Him. We are thankful for the message shared by Garrett Ethridge this morning, and for the reminder that because He lives, we have hope both now and forever. Take a moment to watch this Easter sermon and reflect on the greatest story ever told. He is risen!

Today we pause at the cross and remember the depth of Christ’s love for us. On Good Friday, we reflect on the sacrifice that brought us peace and the grace poured out through His wounds. May our hearts remain humbled, grateful, and drawn closer to the Savior who gave everything for us.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, a time to remember Jesus’ humble entry into Jerusalem and the hope, peace, and salvation He brings. It reminds us to welcome Him into our hearts with praise and to reflect on His love and sacrifice.

Join us this Sunday, February 22, at 10AM, for a special Retirement Celebration following our morning worship service as we honor and celebrate the faithful ministry of Rev. Harry Warren.

With full hearts and deep gratitude, we announce Pastor Harry’s retirement. He faithfully served our church from 1974–1978 and again from 1994 to the present (2026). For decades, he has preached the Word with conviction, led with humility, prayed with compassion, and walked alongside our church family through seasons of joy, growth, and hardship. His steady leadership and servant’s heart have left a lasting impact on generations.

While it is never easy to close such a meaningful chapter, we celebrate a ministry that has pointed so many to Christ and strengthened our church in countless ways. We thank God for Pastor Harry’s faithfulness and the legacy he leaves behind.

We hope you will join us for this special time of fellowship as we share a meal, memories, and words of appreciation for a life poured out in service to the Lord and His church.

Since we weren’t able to gather for worship this morning due to the snow, we’re thankful for the reminder that God’s Word still meets us right where we are.

Today we’re sharing a powerful message from Pastor Harry Warren, originally preached on January 5 of last year, titled “Why Am I Here?” from Ecclesiastes 1:1–14. It’s a timely reminder that even when life feels routine, uncertain, or interrupted, our purpose is found in the Lord.

We are praying for everyone’s safety and warmth during this winter weather. We will miss gathering together for worship tomorrow, but we are planning a mid-week service and will share details soon!

Due to the potential for snow, hazardous travel, and winter weather from Friday, January 30 through Sunday, February 1, as forecast by the National Weather Service, we are cancelling Sunday worship this week for the safety of our congregation. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Barnwell County and surrounding areas with snow and difficult travel conditions possible over the weekend. 

Please stay tuned for updates on Wednesday night services and check the latest weather guidance before heading out. Stay safe, warm, and we look forward to worshiping together soon! 🙏❄️

Due to winter weather conditions, morning worship service for Sunday, January 25 is cancelled.

The safety of our congregation is our highest priority, and this decision was made out of an abundance of caution.
