Well Spring Break has come and gone. I hope that everyone had a joyful week. But this is how we spent our 5 days off. Our Infant/Toddler Room received an entire make over. My son Steven Jr. along with his crew did all of the painting, drywall repairs, etc. It took is longer than expected but and we had to delay reopening but once you see these pictures it was well worth it. Our children will get to walk into a brand new atmosphere along with our Teachers. This is the first complete room as we have 2 more rooms to upgrade. Thanks to our parents for being patient and as a reward we're giving them this week's childcare for free!!! Thanks to all who made this possible especially to ABC Quality Rooms By Design who gave us the grant for the upgrade as one of their Pilot Centers!!!

Week of the Young Child has been a blast. Even though we missed the SC Read-In on April 7th, we were still able to participate online this year. So here are a few pictures as we wrap up this week of celebration. Congratulations to all of our children, parents, and staff for a great safe week. Everyone please enjoy your Spring Break. NJMBC CDC takes pride in honoring our Teachers for the outstanding service they give to the children and the Center. ABC Quality awarded our staff Child Care Hero certificates for the successful jobs they did during the COVID-19 Pandemic. NJMBC CDC awarded each Teacher a bonus of $125.00. Thanks to all of our Teachers and Staff for the excellent service that they give!!! 🙏🙌

On April 7th, 2022 during the Week of the Young Child, NJMBC CDC was invited to Denmark Technical College for the NAEYC Symposium. The Symposium was hosted by the DTC Early Childhood Department headed by Dean, Division of Arts & Sciences Mrs. Rosaland Kenner. NJMBC CDC was awarded the Outstanding Child Care Champion Trophy. As Director, I want to thank each and every one of our Teachers, Administrators, Parents, and Students who make this all possible. I love you and we take pride in teaching our students, building relationships with our parents, and making a positive impact in our community. All Praise and Glory belongs to God!!!

The Week of the Young Child is here!!! We celebrate April 4th through April 8th 2022 as this special week for educators across the nation to recognize our children and the importance of Early Childhood Education. Our Center started this Monday morning with "Muffins for Moms". Join us throughout the week as we continue to celebrate each day. We are so grateful for our Teachers, our parents, and our children who in all play an important role in Early Childhood Education. Our bus driver and bus monitor also delivered muffins along their bus route as they picked up students. Thank God for this special week of recognition. Join with us each day to see how we are celebrating the Week of the Young Child!!!
