Middlebury Chapel Longest Night Service

06/15/2026

A great shoutout to the entire crew that came and helped greatly to clean up the down pine tree and the large oak tree limb in Middlebury Cemetery.
Arnie and I and all of Middlebury Church thank you. Connie March, Steve Theobald, Jo Newell, Nancy Huffman, Jamie Knight, Jen Knight, Doug Ihm, Jen, Andy, Maddie, Izzy and Sam Heller. Lots of sawing, raking, loading and hauling of the branches, leaves and logs. Still have 1/3 of the broken off tree to get out of there, then we are done!
Our next venture is to paint the gazebo and get the handicap entrance stained.
Thank you again team! 🥰

These were my decorator helpers today at Middlebury Chapel. Regan decorated the tree by herself but Aden put the star on top. Both were big help downstairs. Still a lot to do, but moving right along. Thank you, Aden and Regan for your help.

Sending a special thank you to Connie March for trimming all of the shrubs at Middlebury Chapel. Very much appreciated! You did it on one of the hottest days of the summer. They look nice. Another special thanks to Wendy Bedale and Duane Kaufman for the new light for the piano. It’s something that was really needed for the Longest Night Service especially. Thank you also to Virginia and David Jensen for the new vacuum cleaner it will make it much easier to carry up the stairs. Thank you!
