These three are my beauties. We through the years have had lots of laughs lots of tears lots of disagreements. But st the end the most we have had is a whole lot of love
I am blessed beyond words of having the honor of raising these three very wonderful ladies. Great Moms great women great wives. But the most important is excellent daughters. I adore all three even with all our bumps and bruises I definitely wouldn’t change a things if the years I have been honored with. Thank you Lord for giving me these three. And the brothers that came with them. I am one lucky and blessed lady

This boy has become one of the best men I know. He Loves the Lord and his family. Now he is a Solider He has always had a wry special place in my heart. I am blessed beyond words From birth till now he has shown his love for his grandparents and we could not be more proud. Good luck my boy be safe and keep making us proud

My grandmother always drank her coffee like this! I thought it was because it was too hot.
Do you remember older generations drinking from their saucer? Then today I came across this poem that made me feel there was symbolism to the coffee ritual.

Drinking from My Saucer

I’ve never made a fortune and it’s probably too late now.
But I don’t worry about that much, I’m happy anyhow.

And as I go along life’s way, I’m reaping better than I sowed.
I’m drinking from my saucer, ‘Cause my cup has overflowed.

I don’t have a lot of riches, and sometimes the going’s tough.
But I’ve got loved ones around me, and that makes me rich enough.

I thank God for his blessings, and the mercies He’s bestowed.
I’m drinking from my saucer, ’Cause my cup has overflowed.

I remember times when things went wrong, my faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke, and the sun peeped through again.

So God, help me not to gripe about the tough rows that I’ve hoed.
I’m drinking from my saucer, ‘Cause my cup has overflowed.

If God gives me strength and courage, when the way grows steep and rough.
I’ll not ask for other blessings, I’m already blessed enough.

And may I never be too busy, to help others bear their loads.
Then I’ll keep drinking from my saucer, ‘Cause my cup has overflowed.
