Fr John A Hardon, SJ Archive & Guild

Fr John A Hardon, SJ Archive & Guild The primary purpose of the Fr. John A. Hardon, S.J. Archive and Guild is the beatification and canonization of the Servant of God, Fr. Hardon. John Hardon, S.J.

of their knowledge of his life and reputation for sanctity offering any insights and anecdotes that might contribute to a more complete understanding of Fr. The Eternal Life Apostolate of Bardstown, Kentucky is the Actor of the Cause for Beatification and Canonization. Father Hardon’s vast personal library and correspondence is housed at the Eternal Life Office and is now being organized and catalogued by Eternal Life volunteers.

"The apostolate is not optional." — Father John Hardon ✝️

Father Hardon’s message is clear: To win back our culture, we must empower our youth and embrace our roles as lay witnesses. We are in the world, and that is exactly where Christ needs us to be.

It’s time to stop following public opinion and start following the Gospel.

Grace is at the very heart of Christianity because it describes the panorama of God's dealings with mankind. Newly re-printed, this amazing book will provide so much food for thought; however, the doctrine of grace is not simple, as may be seen from the sequence of errors in the understanding of grace seen along the path of the Church's history.

Father Hardon reminds all Catholics of the integral role grace plays in our daily lives and how a clear grasp of the basic principles of grace is useful, and may at times be indispensable, for directing oneself and others on the road to salvation. This is an amazing book! Every Catholic should have a well-used copy. Another jewel from Father Hardon!

This book has now been reprinted after many years and is now available!

In this powerful catechetical conference, Father John Hardon, S.J., cuts through modern confusion by restoring the Catholic understanding of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as the very heart of Eucharistic faith. He explains that the Mass is not merely a communal meal or symbolic remembrance, but the real, sacrificial re‑presentation of Calvary: the same sacrifice Christ offered once on the Cross, now made present on Catholic altars throughout the world. Christ merited every grace needed for salvation on Good Friday, but those graces must be applied to souls, and the Mass is the primary channel through which that saving power flows into the world.

Is Jesus present in the Eucharist? Yes. Is it Jesus in His divine nature? Yes. Is it Jesus in His human nature? Yes. But if Jesus in the Eucharist is really and truly present, is He there with all that makes Him not only man, but makes Him this man? Yes. After all, when God assumed human nature, He assumed this nature as a particular single human being. The divine Person of the Son of God did not merely in some abstract sense become human. He became a definite, historically specific human being.

Thus in the Eucharist is present the Jesus of history: the one who was conceived of His Mother Mary at Nazareth; who was born in a stable at Bethlehem; who lived for thirty years in Palestine; and who walked and talked and wept and slept and ate and drank; who shed real red blood on the cross and who rose from the grave and after His resurrection had the incredulous disciples put their fingers into His pierced side.
