Scripture from our Thursday night “Counterfeit Gospel” teaching. In this world, there are different gospel that can suit your passions (prosperity, self-help, pursuit of perfection). These will make you feel good (tickled your ears) but they are deception from the devil. It can have 90% truth and 10% deceit and that little bit of deceit is enough to be dangerous.

Lord, thank You for Your Word which is living and active. Help us to follow the true gospel of Christ faithfully and endure sound doctrine. Holy Spirit, please grow our discernment and help us to filter our input with the filter of the gospel truth. In Jesus name,amen.

Tonight was a beautiful night of fellowship and gathering around God’s word. We gained helpful tools to help discern between counterfeit gospels and the truth of God’s word. We will share those slides for our friends who couldn’t join us too🫶

In a tiktok discipleship era, where Christians consume countless Christian content videos daily, it's so important to be able to discern counterfeit gospels with the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ladies, come join us April 16th to gain tools to help identify false teaching/ doctrine.

Hey Ladies!
For 2026, we are committing to writing God's word on our hearts as a community through the practice of scripture memorization, and we would love for you to join this challenge with us!

Starting in January, every lady who comes to our gatherings will receive a scripture memorization card for the month. You will also be able to download a matching screen background for your phone on the Abide Women's Ministry page every month to correlate with each month's scripture! You will also be able to find the verse of the month in the Mill Creek Women's bathroom, just as a way to help you memorize the verse during handwashing sessions on Sunday and Wednesdays. Facebook will also be a place where you will see the scripture of the month, as well as devotionals on the verse each month

Then, at the next gathering (starting in February), ladies will be allowed to quote the verse from the month before. Each lady who has it memorized will have their name put in for a drawing for the night, and the lady whose name is drawn will receive a gift card! Of course, ladies who memorize the scripture for the month, whose names are not drawn, will receive a token to recognize the work that they put into writing God's word on their hearts that month.

Everyone wins because they are committing to making God's word a part of their heart, soul, and mind!

We are not going to issue this challenge of course, without
giving you all the tools needed to help you succeed, so here are some tools to help you with scripture memorization:

-Bible Memory App
-Writing longhand
-First Letter Method (Write the first letter of each word so that you can see it as a way to trigger your memory- also check out Dwell differently for examples)
-Listen to the audio version on the Youversion Bible app on repeat
