We offer Sunday School classes for all ages from Nursery thru Adult. Our worship services include traditional hymns of the faith and preaching from the KJV Bible. We also have a church van available for Youth pick-up (Message for more info.) Brief History:
When the Cyrus Creek School house was closed in 1922, members of the little congregation which had up until that time met in a nearby cellar under a store, approached the Cabell County Board of Education to purchase the little building. They were allowed to buy it for $300. Soon afterward, on March 2, 1923, the owner of the land upon which the former school sat deeded the property to the trustees. Originally called Cyrus Creek Holiness Mission, the name was later changed to Cyrus Creek Community Church. Then, in 1956, the congregation organized as Cyrus Creek Missionary Baptist Church. The little one-room schoolhouse eventually became too small for the congregation. So it was torn down and replaced, in 1970, by our present Church.
