This past Saturday, we partnered with Livingstone Apostolic Church in Akron for their annual Community Day and we had a ball. Even better is the fact that Jesus showed up!

Not only was Heart of Christ playing games with the children but First Lady .higginbottom did some face painting. Bro. Larry Mitchell handed out chips and Sis Terri Golden was doing so much that she probably needed a nap!

Besides showing up as a church some members had their own booths to give out things for the children. Kids got toys, dental hygiene products, hot food, hair cuts, books, and most importantly school supplies and prayer. All for free! This is what it means when we say we live by our mission to show the Heart of Christ.

Thank God for showing up and we are still praying for those who showed up that they would want to know the Lord on a personal level.

Jesus is free. He is always available. He is easily shared, at no extra cost. Now how's that for a good deal?HALLELUJAH!...

John 1:1-5 says this:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

He said it, so now we have to live like it's true, because it is.

We are so grateful for Bishop Ella Ingram and this revelation she shared at our Unity in the Community service. We all need somebody, we have to walk in community or else we will never arrive.

And that is why we have to be teachable, so that we can walk in who God created us to be. That means a change.

What can your faith do?

We all start out with a measure of faith, but we have to grow that faith day by day, through trusting in the Lord. God doesn't approve of spiritual stagnation. Your faith needs to grow. And when you trust in Him, your faith will be able to move mountains.
