Happy Easter! Christ is risen! Alleluia!

"They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body. While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them. The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, 'Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here but has risen.'" (Luke 24:2-5)

Today is Palm Sunday and Sunday of the Passion. "Now as [Jesus] was approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen, saying, 'Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!'" (Luke 19:37-38).

Today we celebrate the Annunciation of our Lord! Nine months before Christmas, the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would give birth to the Son of God. "The angel said to her, 'Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus.' ... Then Mary said, “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word'" (Luke 1:30-31, 38).
