Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of our priest, Fr. John, and for the 15 years he has faithfully served You and Your people. We are grateful for his dedication, compassion, and guidance in leading us closer to You.

Lord, bless him abundantly with good health, wisdom, joy, and renewed strength. May Your grace continue to sustain him in his ministry, and may Your Holy Spirit fill his heart with peace and zeal for Your work.
We ask You to reward his faithful service and surround him with Your love and protection today and always. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ and Consecration of the New Cathedral Altar

The Diocese of Corpus Christi joyfully invites the faithful to celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ with a historic and sacred occasion: the formal reception of the Bishop into his cathedral and the consecration of the new altar. This special liturgy will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, with doors opening at 5:00 PM and Mass beginning at 6:00 PM.
As we gather for this profound moment in the life of the Church and welcome all into the Corpus Christi Cathedral once again, we honor both the Feast of Corpus Christi and the renewal of our diocesan home as a place of worship, unity, and mission. A Eucharistic procession will follow the Mass, offering all in attendance the opportunity to publicly witness and celebrate our faith.
