Banner Elk Presbyterian Church Banner Elk Presbyterian Church dates back to 1893 and is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church USA. We welcome all to visit, join and serve! Welcome!

Our members are from many denominations - with a long history of being a hard-working, inclusive congregation. Our 200 or so members comprise a congregation of varied backgrounds, experiences and from many different denominations. We have a long history of hard-working, inclusive congregation out in the community helping others. Sunday Worship at 11 AM. Additional service at 9 AM in June, July & August.

Thank you Feeding Avery Families Food Pantry!

Wow! Another big month here at Feeding Avery Families.

We served 787 households and 2,345 individuals in August.

These are so much more than just numbers, they are neighbors. Because of your support we are able to keep our community fed. During these challenging, expensive, and uncertain times we have been able to provide support for Avery County residents and beyond. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and even every engagement on social media allows us to keep doing the work we do.

We could not do what we do without the dedication you all have to our amazing community. From the bottom of our hearts thank you thank you THANK YOU! ❤

If you or anyone you know is ever in need please stop by on a Friday we'd be honored to lend a helping hand.
