đłA tree never strains or stresses to produce fruit; it simply stays rooted, absorbs the water and sunlight, and grows what it was naturally made to grow.
In a world full of noise, outrage, and constant performative pressure, itâs easy to feel weary. We try so hard to fix ourselves in our own strength, but true, lasting change doesnât come from self-willâit comes from the Root.
Notice that Scripture calls this the fruit of the Spirit, not the fruit of our own effort. When we abide in Christ, stay grounded in His Word, and walk daily with the Holy Spirit:
đ± Love replaces self-centeredness
đ± Joy outlasts our temporary circumstances
đ± Peace steadies our hearts in chaos
đ± Patience & Kindness soften our reactions
đ± Goodness & Faithfulness keep our integrity intact
đ± Gentleness & Self-Control guard our testimony
Letâs take a deep breath together. Stop trying to manufacture righteousness on our own. Abide in the True Vine (John 15), let the Spirit do His work in our hearts, and trust that He will bring forth a rich, beautiful harvest in His timing.
Is there a particular fruit of the Spirit that you need to ask God to cultivate in your life this week? Letâs pray for one another.
Have a blessed day, friends! âïžđ
