Have you ever looked at the mess you made and thought you were just too far gone for God to fix? King David knew that feeling. He messed up in the worst way: he slept with another man’s wife, got her pregnant, and then set up that man to be killed in battle to hide the truth. By every human measure, David was ruined. Yet when his sin was brought into the light, he did not run away, make excuses, or give up. Instead, he fell on his face and begged God for something only God could do: “Create in me a clean heart.”
Maybe your life feels wrecked right now, and you wonder if you have done too much wrong. The good news is that you cannot out-sin God’s mercy. David knew he could not wash his own soul or fix himself with good intentions. He needed the Lord to give him a brand-new start and put a steady spirit back inside him. Repentance is not about living in shame forever; it simply means turning away from the wrong road and turning back to God, trusting Him to wipe away the past.
No matter what you did yesterday or what heavy load you carried into today, you are never too broken for the Lord to redeem. Stop trying to carry the guilt on your own, lay it down, and turn your heart to Him. Come and join us in worship today at 11:00 AM at Ramah Church.
