New Hope Church is a gathering of people who need God’s grace and power daily. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings at 10am in the gym of Penobscot Christian School (1423 Ohio Street, Bangor, ME 04401). Our website is: http://newhopebgr.org/

We are one congregation within the Christian Church throughout the world and throughout history, and we also iden

tify as “Reformed” (which has been described as the conviction that God is more stubborn in pursuing us with His grace than we are in running from Him). We began as part of the Christian Reformed Church (CRC), however in Summer of 2024 we began working towards affiliation with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). No matter where you are coming from or what you believe, we welcome you to join us as we come to know our Creator and God, through Jesus our Lord.

THIS SUNDAY, January 15, 2026!

Rudy Heuer will preach his first sermon at New Hope Church as our "student supply"! (Once his ordination is complete (Lord willing, this spring) he will become our official Pastor!)

We are so excited to welcome Rudy, his wife Emily, and their son Peter to Maine and New Hope Church! We are eager to see how God moves and grows New Hope in this new season!

Praise the Lord!

The Elders and Pastor Search Committee are so pleased to share that Rudy Heuer has accepted the call to come to New Hope Church to be our next Pastor!

We are grateful for the Lord's provision to New Hope over the past several years, for guiding the search committee, for leading Rudy to apply, and guiding the interview and candidating process.

Please be in prayer over the next couple of months for all the details that are required in this next step forward.
