Redeemer Lutheran Church Bangor ME Redeemer Lutheran Church is a congregation of the New England Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We worship every Sunday at 9:30 am.

The apple tree by the entrance is producing apples for the first time. The tree was planted over 5 years ago (correction: planted in 2017) and this is the first fruit we have seen.

Prayer request from Pastor Mike.
We learned today that the Rev. Dr. Patricia Davenport, former Bishop of the Southeastern PA synod passed away unexpectedly this morning. Bp. Davenport was the first African American woman called as Bishop of and ELCA Synod. She was a blessing to the entire church and a wonderful colleague. Please join me in praying for her family and all those who grieve her passing.
