The name, Christopher, means Christ-bearer. In our own way, we the people of St. Christopher’s try to follow the example of our patron by being Christ bearers for one another and for the community in which we live. Like our patron, we seek to serve Christ through our worship, fellowship and service. This is in keeping with our baptismal promise to, seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself. If you are looking for a church home or are simply seeking a place to explore issues of faith, we hope you will visit us. The town of Bandera lies approximately 50 miles northwest of San Antonio. It is the county seat of Bandera County. A mixture of ranching, tourism, hunting, fishing and, increasingly, retirement households supports the area’s economy. Bandera is the site of numerous outdoor festivals and is known as the ‘Cowboy Capital of the World.’

Making Contact

Secretary office hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00-12:00 noon. Rob is available most mornings for walk-ins or to open the church for prayer. To schedule an appointment please call the office. If we are not there, simply leave a message (phone, email, or stick it on the door) and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
