Anchor ministries has been called to share the love of Christ. In particular, we have a heart for the super broken. Christ ministered to people that were not thought to be worthy of God’s love because of their standing in life. We w
ant to reach those people that feel like they don’t belong in Church or feel like they are not accepted at church. Our unique past gives us a passion to show God’s love to the people who feel unlovable. We welcome everyone. Anchor ministries isn’t a place where we want you to clean up and show us your good side. We want you to come just as you are, cry if you need to. Be vulnerable and true to where you are at in life. Let us love you and show you how Christ has changed our lives with the confident hope it can change your life too. It’s important to remember that Christ met all of us right where we were at, just as we broken as we could possibly be. HE wants to do the same thing for you! We believe that there is only one true God. Having a “higher power” only Works if we recognize the true “higher power”. Our ministry has been called “inner city” and we have often been told we were in the wrong place. So we started a ministry that is in the right place. Seeking out addicts, Ministering to single moms, abused women, broken children and the guys who think their sins are unforgivable. My bible says sins are forgiven through the free gift of grace. We want to share with you the gift that God freely gives to all who believe. Grace! Our studies are straight from the Bible. We share the word and stay in the word. The living word has the power to change your life. Our pastor was an addict for many years and has become a new creation in Christ. Just as several of the other founding members have. We have some amazing families that love children and welcome the opportunity to share Christ with the little ones. Anchor ministries has a variety of people from all different walks of life, but they share one common passion. The love of Christ and the responsibility to share it with other people.
