Hinenu Baltimore Join us as we grow our radically inclusive and joyful Jewish community in Baltimore, Maryland! You are so welcome to explore, learn, build, and grow with us.

We are a growing community in Baltimore of Jews and our loved ones who study, pray, organize, and care for one another. We're building a synagogue-meets-community center-meets-beit midrash-meets-workers co-op. Hinenu (הננו) means "here we are" in Hebrew, and Shtiebl is Yiddish for "little house," a term for an intimate, cozy space where prayer and study meet.

Registration for all High Holy Day services at Hinenu will close at 5pm on Wednesday September 9th. For Leil Rosh HaShana and Kol Nidre, walk-in registrations will be accepted beginning at 7pm. For Rosh HaShana day 1 and Yom Kippur morning services, walk-in registrations will be accepted at 10:30am.

This week at Hinenu: Join us for Avodat Lev this Saturday, 8/29, led by Dayne Samuels. This service, part of the Experimental Shabbat series, starts at 10:30am and ends at 11:45am. The service is at Homewood Friends and on Zoom at bit.ly/HinenuZoom

Elul Song Circle will meet again on Monday, August 31st, from 7-8:15pm at Homewood Friends. This is a wonderful way to prepare for the meditative mood of the holidays – and also a great way to add beauty to our services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
