Mingle with drinks and dairy hors d'oeuvres prior to the camp-style Kabbalat Shabbat service with the Shir Shabbat Band, outdoors in the Ben and Esther Rosenbloom Amphitheater. Joyful white attire encouraged. All ages are welcome.

Following the service (weather permitting), you're invited to join us for a kosher BYO picnic dinner. You bring the food, we'll bring challah, grape juice, and cutlery.

What an incredible weekend celebrating 25 years of Gemilut Hasadim at Chizuk Amuno! 💜✡️🫶🏼

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, learned, packed, sorted, created, donated, and supported our special anniversary weekend honoring 25 years of service, made possible through the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation grant.

From our students’ meaningful service projects to an inspiring Shabbat panel discussion on the power of volunteerism to Sunday’s hands-on community service activities, this weekend was a beautiful reflection of what can happen when a community comes together to help others.

Because of your time, energy, and generosity, countless individuals and organizations throughout our community will feel the impact of your kindness. Thank you for living our values and helping us celebrate this important milestone in such a meaningful way.

Here’s to 25 years of making a difference—and to many more years of caring, compassion, and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our screening of Holding Liat and the meaningful discussion that followed with Rabbi Gruenberg and Executive Producer Janine Frier.

This powerful documentary offered an intimate look at the human impact of October 7 through the story of Liat Beinin Atzili and her family, reminding us of the resilience, courage, and hope that endure even in the most difficult moments.

We are grateful to all who came together to learn, reflect, and engage in thoughtful conversation. As a community, we continue to bear witness, support one another, and keep the stories of those affected at the forefront of our hearts and minds. 💙
