When I look at my husband I often think what did I do to deserve a love like this? I was recently married (yes married not divorced) with 4 kids when Joe my high school best friend came back into my life. Things were rocky in my previous marriage. I remember praying to God one day outside while checking the mail, "God, please get me out of this situation. I will marry anyone even if it's....Joe." I just randomly said a name and Joe's name had popped out my mouth. I might as well of said I would marry the USPS man who just handed me my mail. Never in a million years did I ever think either would happen. But here I am today 13 years later married to the Joe Lee for over 11 years. I am amazed at how God takes us out of --and puts us into some of the wildest situations through his LOVING hands. I could tell you that my last marriage ended because of MY own infidelity ...but God somehow took a sinful me and gave me NEW START despite my SIN! What kind of God is that! He's the kind of God that loves us despite of or maybe even because of our flaws. I really don't deserve his LOVE. I really didn't deserve a second chance at a marriage because I was in the wrong. But that didn't stop him from showing my LOVE. In fact my own sin, just gave him an opportunity to let LOVE show even more. Who can Love Me like my God? On Christmas, I am reminded on the ultimate act of love -- that God sent his son into this world, to be sacrificed by the same people he would save from being separated from him. He wants to be with us. Just a BIG reminder that He loves us so much even though we don't deserve it!
