Fr. Dennis's Farewell Mass and Reception.
We will all miss you, Fr. Dennis, but are extremely grateful for the 16 years we shared with you as our pastor.

In March 2020 with the world-wide pandemic my family and I began to provide 100 bagged lunches to Beans & Bread; we continued to provide lunches weekly and in April, Ms. Barb who then was director @ Beans/Bread asked if I could begin to provide 300 lunches per week. While I replied yes, my thought as I drove home focused on how to do just that; after praying for an answer for several days I emailed Fr. Dennis and asked if we could collect lunches through St. Casimir's; his immediate response was a resounding Absolutely!; paraphrasing, "feed my sheep" we are called to care for others and so many are in need during this pandemic. Thus began Our Little Bagged Lunch Mission in May 2020~!

Father's "absolutely" that day carries through to this day, for he allowed each of us the opportunity to extend hearts and hands in kindness, and compassion to feed, care for, clothe the poorest of the poor among us. His 'absolutely' has enabled each of us to share a broader awareness of the plight of so many, to put ourselves in another's place and to not be judgmental.


Six years later the "absolutely" of Fr. Dennis has allowed us to provide 264,426 lunches feeding one's hunger and feeding one's soul; the effect of one's 'absolutely" and how that 'absolutely' changed lives of those who are fed/cared for, those who volunteer, those who provide lunches.

Thank you Fr. Dennis for so beautifully providing an example of immersing oneself into the everyday lives, struggles and joys of others, and doing so with such compassion and humility. We send you to your new home with much love and prayers.....
