Jesus tells His disciples to stay ready.

In Luke 12:35-59, He speaks about watchfulness, faithfulness, and the urgency of living in light of His return. It is a call to pay attention, steward what we have been given well, and follow Him with undivided hearts.

This Sunday, church planter Brandon Smith will be teaching from this passage as we consider what faithful readiness looks like in everyday life.

Join us at RCC as we worship, open God’s Word, and ask the Lord to shape us into people who are awake to His presence and faithful to His mission.

What do you cling to when everything you built starts falling apart?

In a season of crushing debt and uncertainty, God used Matthew 6:33 to expose misplaced priorities and call one heart back to what mattered most: seeking His kingdom first.

The circumstances did not change overnight, but the direction of a life did.

What a timely reminder that our security has never rested in our own cleverness, resources, or control. God is good.

Some weeks have a way of exposing where we look for our worth.

Maybe something did not go as planned. You disappointed someone, made a mistake you kept replaying, or felt you had fallen short.

Those moments can make it easy to measure ourselves by how well we are doing. But the gospel gives us something far more secure: Jesus has already done what we could never do for ourselves.

That is at the heart of what we mean when we say RCC is GOSPEL CENTERED, the first of nine values in our Culture Guide.

We never graduate from the good news of Jesus. The gospel is not only the message that brings us to faith; it continues to remind us who God is, what Christ has done, and where our hope rests.

So in the ordinary moments of life, in joy, disappointment, service, relationships, and everything in between, we return again and again to Jesus.

We need the gospel every day.

Jesus is not only where our story begins. He remains at the center of it all.

Sometimes the clearest picture of the Gospel is a life being changed by Jesus.

Samson’s story is a reminder that Christ meets us personally, reshapes what we believe, and gives us a hope we could never create for ourselves.

Hear Samson share, in his own words, what Jesus has done in his life.

One of the most impactful parts of a Sunday morning can happen in the space between “hello” and “see you next week.”

Someone stops to talk. You share a little of your story. They share theirs. Before long, you are no longer simply recognizing faces across the room. You are building relationships with people who want to know you, pray for you, and follow Jesus alongside you.

That kind of life together is at the heart of church membership.

RCC 101 is your opportunity to discover what that can look like at Redemption City Church. Whether you recently started attending, have called RCC your church home for a while, or are considering membership, we invite you to learn about our Gospel-centered beliefs, mission, ministries, and life as a church family.

Join us this Sunday, August 30, at 1 PM on the third floor. Lunch is provided.

Bring your questions. Pull up a chair. Take the next step from attending RCC to becoming more deeply connected to RCC's people and mission!

Fall is coming, and with it, a fresh rhythm for life at RCC.

As calendars fill and ministries pick back up, September gives us a chance to be intentional about what shapes us. More than simply getting back into routine, we want to grow deeper in Christ, stronger in community, and more faithful in the places God has called us to serve.

Swipe through to see what’s happening at RCC this month, then mark your calendar for the opportunities that can help you connect, grow, serve, and take a next step.

Let’s enter the fall rooted in Jesus and ready for all He has ahead.

You don't have to pretend you are okay.

The Gospel frees us from hiding our struggles or feeling the pressure to perform. Jesus came because we could never save ourselves, and He gives us His people to help carry our burdens.

Bring your struggles into the light, and let Jesus meet you there.

What makes a church feel like home?

It can be worshiping together at a Sunday gathering, a meal around someone’s table, a prayer offered at exactly the right moment, a friend who shows up when life gets hard, or an invitation that makes someone feel seen.

Over time, moments like these begin to tell a story about who a church is.

At RCC, our Culture Guide gives language to nine gospel-centered values that help shape our life together: Gospel Centered, Gospel Family, Gospel Equippers, Gospel Mission, Gospel Excellence, Gospel Innovation, Gospel Honor, Gospel Humility, and Gospel Hospitality.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll spend some time reflecting on each one, not simply defining what it means, but sharing what it can look like in the everyday lives of people transformed by Jesus.

Because culture takes shape in ordinary moments: how we worship, serve, welcome, encourage, grow, and love one another.

Follow along with us, and explore the full RCC Culture Guide anytime on our website.

There are moments when following Jesus feels costly.

When speaking truth takes courage. When faithfulness sets us apart. When fear of what others may think competes with our desire to honor Christ.

In Luke 12:1-12, Jesus prepares His disciples for those moments. He reminds them who is worthy of their fear, assures them that they are deeply known and valued by God, and promises that the Holy Spirit will help them bear witness when the time comes.

That same Gospel has been carried across generations, cultures, languages, and nations, and this Sunday we get to celebrate the beautiful truth that Jesus is gathering a people for Himself from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation.

Join us for Nations Sunday as we worship together, celebrate the diversity and unity of Christ’s Church, and consider how God may be calling each of us to live more missionally.

Sunday services: 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30 AM.

Come ready to worship the King whose good news is for all people.
