The tradition of Tahslich on Rosh Hashanah is when we symbolically cast our "sins" into water. In Reverse Tashlich, we turn that ritual into action—removing human "sin" from the water by cleaning up our local waterways and beginning the year with purpose and care.

🍎🍯 A sweet start to a new Sisterhood year!

We loved coming together for our Sisterhood Opening Event — an evening filled with community, connection, learning, and, of course, something sweet!

Rabbi Sarah Rockford took us on a fascinating journey through the story of Adam and Eve, exploring how the mysterious fruit became known as an “apple” and the many theories behind what it may actually have been. She then brought us into the season ahead, sharing the meaning behind our beloved Rosh Hashanah tradition of dipping apples in honey. 🍎🍯

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped kick off another wonderful year of Sisterhood at Chizuk Amuno. Here’s to a year filled with learning, friendship, and plenty of sweetness! ✨
