As Vacation Bible School comes to a close, we would like to thank all of the volunteers and donors: Anastasia Diniotis, Foti Mavroulis, Tina Harris, Avgerinos family, Karoutsos Family, Korologos family, Father Michael and Presbytera.

A thank you also to Eleni Lentis for the behind the scenes work.

We also had an amazing group of young volunteers who just a few years ago, were in VBS looking up to their older counselors. This week our campers looked at them in the same way- with excitement and joy.

Thank you to everyone who supported in some way and for all of the parents and grandparents who brought their children.

The students attended liturgy, took communion, played, socialized, made new friends, and most importantly connected as Orthodox Christians, learned about their faith, and grew stronger in it.

As we celebrate the completion of another Sunday School year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you.
To our students, congratulations on advancing to the next grade level. Your eagerness to learn about Christ, the Holy Scriptures, and the Orthodox faith brings joy to our parish family. May God continue to guide and strengthen you as you grow in wisdom and faith.
To our parents, thank you for your commitment and dedication. By bringing your children to church and supporting their religious education, you help lay a strong spiritual foundation that will bless them throughout their lives.
To our teachers, we are deeply grateful for your time, patience, and loving service. Your efforts to teach and nurture our children in the Orthodox faith are a precious ministry and a blessing to our community.
May our Lord Jesus Christ, through the prayers of Saint Nicholas, bless each of you with a restful summer and continued growth in faith. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another year of learning, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Our final Sunday of the 2025-2026 Sunday School year will be May 31.
We hope to see all of our students there as we celebrate the end to a beautiful year.

Register in the church office for VBS which will take place form June 22-June 25, 2026.

Students in our Sunday School learned about the Annunciation today.

Then we got all of our wiggles out with some classic games: Simon Says, The Hokey Pokey and a little bit of Hangman.

Congratulations to all of the wonderful speakers from churches throughout our district who spoke at the district level oratorical festival today.

An extra congratulations to our own Tsambika who will be representing Saint Nicholas and speaking at the Metropolis oratorical festival in May.

Her topic focused on the Orthodox teachings surrounding death.

On this first Sunday of Lent, we learned about and celebrated the victory of the icons.

Our children brought in their beloved icons from home and participated in the procession of icons.

Please join us for our annual Saint John Chrysostom Oratorical festival at Saint Nicholas Church on February 28 @ 12 pm.

Encourage our youth, your children, and those in your ministries to research the beauty of Orthodoxy, write a speech and present it on this blessed day.

Our youth has advanced to the district level every year.

In 2025, we represented at the Metropolis level in Philadelphia- one step before nationals.

Life is busy. Our children are busy. We are busy meeting all of our daily obligations and responsibilities.

But we can not be too busy for this. Make time for your faith.
Encourage your child to explore the topics today. Learn, write and share on February 28.
