Students in our Sunday School learned about the Annunciation today.

Then we got all of our wiggles out with some classic games: Simon Says, The Hokey Pokey and a little bit of Hangman.

Congratulations to all of the wonderful speakers from churches throughout our district who spoke at the district level oratorical festival today.

An extra congratulations to our own Tsambika who will be representing Saint Nicholas and speaking at the Metropolis oratorical festival in May.

Her topic focused on the Orthodox teachings surrounding death.

On this first Sunday of Lent, we learned about and celebrated the victory of the icons.

Our children brought in their beloved icons from home and participated in the procession of icons.

Our youth has advanced to the district level every year.

In 2025, we represented at the Metropolis level in Philadelphia- one step before nationals.

Life is busy. Our children are busy. We are busy meeting all of our daily obligations and responsibilities.

But we can not be too busy for this. Make time for your faith.
Encourage your child to explore the topics today. Learn, write and share on February 28.

It was a beautiful day in Sunday School as our students learned about the Epiphany.

Our younger grades learned about John the Baptist and the Epiphany through a lesson and coloring.

Our upper grades did a close read and study of Matthew’s gospel discussing not only the baptism of Christ but also His time in the wilderness resisting the temptations of satan. We talked about how we are tempted daily as Christians and how Christ’s example strengthens and teaches us.

Thank you to all the parents that brought their children today.

All children are welcome, all the time.
