Salem is a congregation serving the Riverside section of South Baltimore. Although we identify as Lutheran (and are proud of our heritage), we welcome anyone who walks through our doors, regardless of where you come from on your journey of faith (or if you are a person still seeking faith).

We’ve installed a new kid’s area right in the sanctuary, a “Prayground” as it were. Now parents don’t have to step out to watch their kids play in the back of the church. Toys are provided. Join us for service Sunday at 10:30. ALL are welcome at Salem Lutheran Church, at the corner of Battery and Randall streets, serving the Riverside neighborhood since 1885.

Riverside Third Space at Salem South Baltimore was busy over the weekend. On Saturday morning the SoBo Music Academy held their regular Music classes for babies and toddlers. On Sunday afternoon the large hall was filled with laughter as birthday parties were held for TWO children, one aged 5 and one aged 6.
