HAPPY MARRIAGE ANNIVERSARY TO OUR BISHOP, DAVE WEIR & LADY MANDY WEIR 🥳🥳

Today, you celebrate not only 32 years of marriage, but 32 years of love, commitment, partnership, sacrifice, and faithfulness to God. Your lives together are a beautiful testimony of what can happen when two people choose to walk hand in hand with God and with one another.

Thank you for allowing us to witness your love, your leadership, and the example you continue to set for families and for the church. May the Lord continue to strengthen your union, renew your joy, and bless your home with many more years of love, laughter, peace, and purpose. 💐

God wants us to examine what’s in our lives, separate ourselves from what is unhealthy or unclean, allow Him to cleanse us, release what has been weighing us down, and move forward into what He has for us.

You can’t put clean clothes back in the same basket with dirty clothes and expect them to stay clean. In the same way, we have to be intentional about what we allow into our hearts, minds, and lives. We shouldn’t allow the things of this world to pollute us.

Hebrews 12:1 — Let go of what weighs you down
Release every weight and sin that holds you back, and keep moving forward in faith with endurance.

Isaiah 1:18 — God can cleanse and restore you
No matter how stained or sinful your past may be, God is able to wash you clean and make you new.

1 Corinthians 15:33 — Be careful what influences you
The people, environments, and influences you allow into your life can affect your character and behavior.
2 Corinthians 6:17 — Separate yourself from what is unclean.

God calls His people to come out from influences and practices that are contrary to Him and to live differently.

Philippians 3:13 — Stop living in the past
Don’t remain stuck on what happened before. Let go of the past and focus on what God has ahead of you.

Psalm 139:23–24 — Ask God to examine you
Invite God to search your heart, reveal anything that is wrong within you, and lead you in the right direction.

Whhat happens when we go through pressure, trials, hardship, and seasons that feel overwhelming?
God uses those seasons to strengthen us, sustain us, and ultimately bring us through.

Pressed, But Not Broken

When you’re already fragile, God doesn’t crush you. He sustains you. You may feel like you’re barely holding on, but God knows how to preserve what is still alive in you.

Your pressure isn’t necessarily pointless. God can use what you’re going through to develop who you’re becoming.

A test doesn’t mean your faith has failed. The test is producing endurance. Sometimes you discover how strong your faith is only after you’ve had to stand through something difficult.

Pressed but not crushed
Perplexed but not in despair
Persecuted but not forsaken
Cast down but not destroyed
He invites you to give Him the weight you’re carrying.

The night may be real, but the night is not forever. Your current season does not get to determine your entire story.

God never promised that we wouldn’t face pressure. He promised that when we do, He will be with us, sustain us, and bring us through.

The Body of Christ — believers are different members with different gifts, but together they make one body, with Christ as the head (1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 1:22–23).

A healthy church can provide:

Belonging ➡️People know they are not alone.
Relationships ➡️People build meaningful connections across generations and backgrounds.
Support ➡️Members help one another through difficult seasons.
Growth ➡️People develop spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and through serving others.
Service ➡️The church meets needs and contributes to the wider community.
Identity ➡️People become part of something bigger than themselves.
