It was another busy morning at St. John. We celebrated Father’s Day with some special music, welcomed two new members to the church, and congratulated one of our young members on his graduation from high school and full scholarship to Yale University. We had a breakfast reception to congratulate him for this incredible accomplishment.

It was a busy Third Sunday After Pentecost at St. John this morning. We had another baptism and the kids got to check out our ….or, should we say, 🦋

The caterpillars have transformed and are now beautiful Monarch butterflies. God is truly amazing!

Later today, we will take them to Filbert Street Garden to release them so they can pollinate their plants. Stay tuned!

It was a busy Second Sunday After Pentecost at St. John today. We welcomed a new member to our Congregation and had a baptism.

We also checked on our monarch caterpillar enclosure and discovered that they have gotten their fill of milkweed and have entered their chrysalis stage. Soon they will emerge and be butterflies! What a wonderful reminder of God’s amazing creation 🐛
