What an AMAZING weekend! The Spirit of God visited us for every part of our Family and Friends Weekend Celebration (last weekend, July 24-26).

From the over 350 people who participated in "Fish, Film and Fellowship" on Friday evening, to the full house for Saturday's "Boots on the Ground and Blessings all Around" line dancing fellowship and old fashioned bbq, to the culminating event, the "Freedom Gospel Explosion, Baptism and Annual Crab Feast" where 11 joined the church, 4 gave their lives to Christ, and 7 were baptized (several spontaneously)!!!

Thanks to the Trustees for preparing the grounds, the Stewards for ensuring that the resources that were necessary were available, and the
Class Leaders - especially Beverly White - for leading the effort.

We encountered community connection, excitement through fellowship, excellence in ministry...and felt the move of God...on The Avenue!!

What an incredible start to our Family & Friends Weekend!

Last night, over 350 people joined us for Family, Fish, Film & Fellowship, enjoying free fish dinners, popcorn, cotton candy, s’mores, and a beautiful night of community under the stars. Thank you to all who came out!

But the celebration continues!

Tonight: Boots on the Ground & Blessings All Around—Old School BBQ, line dancing, Family Feud: Bible Edition, giveaways, and fellowship. BBQ by Soul Smoked BBQ, music and line dancing by Spirit Feet. Limited tickets ($65) available at the door.

Sunday: Outdoor Family & Friends Day Worship Celebration on the Freedom Green Space featuring the Freedom Fire Community Choir, guest dance and Christian hip-hop ministry, baptisms as we “Baptize the Block,” and our FREE Annual Community Crab Feast after worship.

Join us for the final day of our Family & Friends Weekend Celebration. Tomorrow, starting at 10:30 AM, we will enjoy outdoor worship featuring community baptism. Immediately following worship, continue to fellowship with us as we enjoy our Annual Crab Feast! Everyone is welcome!!
