Church of the Holy Nativity

Church of the Holy Nativity Holy Eucharist every Sunday at 10am. THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH is the American branch of the Anglican Communion.

Although it subscribes to the historic Creeds (the Nicene Creed and the Apostles' Creed), considers the Bible to be divinely inspired, and holds the Eucharist or Lord's Supper to be the central act of Christian worship, the Episcopal Church grants great latitude in interpretation of doctrine. It tends to stress less the confession of particular beliefs than the use of the Book of Common Prayer in

public worship. This book, first published in the sixteenth century, even in its revisions, stands today as a major source of unity for Anglicans around the world.

Last Saturday, Rev.Whitney Rice, Canon for Evangelism and Discipleship Development with the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri, led members of Holy Nativity and Sherwood in a meaningful exploration of Evangelism with Integrity.

On Sunday, Canon Whitney served as guest preacher at Holy Nativity and offered a powerful message, reminding us of Jesus’ presence on our Road to Emmaus journeys.

We look forward to continuing this conversation and deepening our practice of Evangelism with Integrity in the months ahead.
