Forgiveness is not always easy, but through Christ we can begin to let go of the pain, bitterness, and chains that have held us captive for far too long. Healing starts when we surrender our hurts to God and allow Him to soften our hearts.

No matter what you’re facing — hurts, hang-ups, or habits — you are not alone. There is hope, healing, freedom, and a forever family waiting for you.

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Memorial Day | Honor the Fallen. Glorify God. 💙🤍❤️🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to others. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend… it’s a moment to reflect on sacrifice, gratitude, and the freedom that many paid the ultimate price to protect.

At Celebrate Recovery, we recognize that sacrifice changes lives. And while we honor those who laid down their lives for our country, we also reflect on the greatest love ever shown through Jesus Christ.

📖 John 15:13
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

💭 Freedom always comes with a cost. Today we remember those who served selflessly and gave their lives for others. May we live with gratitude, extend love generously, and continue walking in the freedom and hope found in Christ.

🙏 Heavenly Father, today we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation. Comfort the families who carry their memory and surround them with Your peace. Help us never take freedom for granted and remind us to live lives that reflect Your love, humility, and sacrifice. Lead us to be people who bring hope, healing, and freedom to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Tonight at Bethel Celebrate Recovery we’re coming together to hear a powerful video testimony of redemption, healing, and the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.

Sometimes someone else’s story becomes the confirmation that we are not alone in our hurts, hangups, and habits. Testimonies remind us that God still restores marriages, heals broken hearts, breaks chains of addiction, renews minds, and gives people a brand new purpose.

No matter where you are in your journey, there is hope for you too. Your past does not disqualify you from God’s grace. Your struggle is not stronger than the cross.

Come expecting encouragement, freedom, and a reminder that recovery happens one step, one surrender, and one day at a time.

Taking a Step Study through Celebrate Recovery is more than attending a class — it is making the decision to let God completely transform your heart from the inside out. It is where walls come down, chains begin to break, and healing becomes real.

A Step Study is not about perfection. It is about surrender.
It is about becoming honest with yourself, accountable with others, and open before God. The process may stretch you emotionally and spiritually, but what waits on the other side is freedom, clarity, healing, and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

So many people stay stuck because they are afraid to confront the pain, the habits, the hurts, and the hang-ups they have carried for years. But freedom lives on the other side of obedience. When you trust God with your story, He begins rewriting it.

In a Step Study, you learn:
• how to release shame and guilt
• how to forgive others and yourself
• how to stop running from your pain
• how to build healthy accountability
• how to truly surrender every area to Christ
• how to walk in freedom instead of bo***ge

God never intended for you to just survive — He called you to heal, grow, and overcome.

Your testimony matters.
Your healing matters.
Your recovery matters.

Don’t let fear stop you from taking the next step God is calling you into. The very thing you are avoiding may be the place where God delivers you completely.

LESSON 16 AMENDS

✨Healing doesn’t stop at honesty ➡️ it moves into action.

In Celebrate Recovery, we come to a point where we don’t just recognize the harm in our past… we take responsibility for it and respond differently.

Step 8: We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.

Principle 6 reminds us:
We evaluate all our relationships. We offer forgiveness to those who have hurt us, and we make amends for harm we’ve done to others—except when doing so would cause further harm.

This step isn’t about shame or self-punishment. It’s about freedom. It’s about becoming people who no longer avoid truth, but who walk in integrity—even when it’s uncomfortable.

Some amends will be spoken. Some will be written. Some will be lived out over time. And some require wisdom and boundaries, not re-entry into unhealthy situations.

But all of it points us toward surrender, responsibility, and reconciliation where possible.

“Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.”— Romans 12:18

💪🏼 Recovery teaches us this:
We don’t heal by hiding our past.
We heal by facing it with God—and doing what love requires next.
