The Church of the Redemption

The Church of the Redemption A welcoming spiritual home for all who enters our doors, wherever they may be on their faith journey. We welcome the chance to get to know you better!

Founded in 1877 at the foot of Hull Street, moved in 1897 to the corner of Towson and Cuba, and worshiping in the current building at Towson and Clement since 1902. We began our mission and ministry by welcoming, training, and educating the immigrant newcomers who came to Locust Point to begin a new life in America. Today, we are as committed to that mission of welcome, worship, hospitality, and e

ducation in the Christian faith as our ancestors. Join us for worship every Sunday at 9 am and call upon us if we may serve you, your loved ones, or your neighbors in any way.

Prayer Pockets are here!
What is it? An interactive textile art exhibit to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors.
Where is it? On the Towson Street-facing garden fence.
How does it work? Our neighbors can write their prayer requests on a waterproof card and insert it into a fabric pocket. We will gather the requests weekly and the prayer team will gather after worship on Sundays to lift up the requests to God.
