ws out of the life of the community. It is neither planted nor transplanted from the outside. It grows out of the hopes, needs and aspirations of the people of the community. The community church serves all of the community, and claims the whole of the community as its parish. It is in fellowship with all other churches in Christ and welcomes all who love the Lord Jesus Christ to its fellowship and membership, regardless of sect or denomination. It is the purpose of the Douglas Memorial Community Church to exalt God, to set forth the teachings of Jesus Christ, our Lord; and to share the fellowship of the Holy Spirit throughout the religious, social and educational fellowship of this congregation and the community.

Give your child a summer filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and new experiences at Camp Farthest Out! For five exciting weeks, campers will enjoy enrichment activities, music, swimming, field trips, hands-on learning, and so much more—all in a safe, structured, and engaging environment.

The best part? It’s absolutely FREE to attend! (Registration fee only: $35 per camper, meals included.)
