Dear friends and families,
How are you? Still excited to have so much family time? Keeping up with the kids’ on-line classwork assignments? Do you now possess matching family face masks? Has grocery shop ping become the thrill of your week?
Or are you trying to work from home, with the kids in the background of your Zoom meetings and find yourself competing for computer time Are you essential personnel, and frustrated that everyone else is home while you are going into work daily and being exposed to germs?
There are as many scenarios as there are families. And there are as many emotions as there are people.
Let’s continue to pray for each other, encourage each other and forgive each other. God didn’t cause this pandemic, but he is with us through it. When we lose patience, say a harsh word, feel unmotivated or lazy, remember that God’s not social distancing himself from us, His grace is not on lock-down, and neither is his mercy. So hang in there, and be merciful to each other, including yourself, and continue to draw close to God for he lovingly draws close to you.
