In this season we are discovering that grace is much more than unmerited favor! Grace is the covenant under which the whole world can enjoy the love of the Father because of the finished work of Jesus! It is God’s unconditional free gift to us with no ifs, no ands, and no buts attached.

THAT’S really the good news! Grace is “Jesus, plus nothing.” The gospel that the whole world is being awakened to is that what the first Adam messed up, the Last Adam—Jesus, has corrected. What we do—our performance, has nothing to do with it. What Christ accomplished for us, with us, through us, and AS us has everything to do with it! That’s enough to make you shout!

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert! ~Isaiah 43:18-19

BELIEVE FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF
ABUNDANCE

“The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand.” Deuteronomy 30:9

A young artist called her aunt one day to let her know she was leaving on a trip to a fashionable resort to try to sell her wood carvings of seabirds to the owner of a gift shop. She asked her aunt to pray that her venture would be successful. Her aunt assured her that she would pray for the largest order she had ever received!

When the young artist called her aunt back. Not only had the gift shop owner purchased all of her carvings, but the owner of a chain of gift shops had also ordered as many carvings as she could make! She was filled with wonder at how abundantly God had blessed her. “Now,” she said to her aunt, “pray that I can fill the order!” Her aunt replied, “The Lord doesn’t open a door unless He expects us to walk through it successfully. When we pray for rain, don’t be surprised when you get a downpour!”

Are you praying for God to just meet your needs? Or are you expecting an abundant, more-than-enough supply according to His riches in glory? The Apostle Paul said, “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things may have an abundance for every good work” 2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJV. Let’s believe God for the manifestation of abundance in our lives, not “just enough.”

After 38 years behind bars for a crime he never committed, Maurice Hastings has been awarded $25 million in his wrongful conviction case. Maurice was convicted in 1983 of the sexual assault and homicide of Roberta Wydermyer in Inglewood, California. DNA evidence tested in 2021 later proved his innocence and linked another man to the crime. Maurice was exonerated.

The Innocence Project took on Maurice's case and fought to set him free. And a judge declared him factually innocent in 2023. His lawsuit alleged that two Inglewood Police Department officers and a Los Angeles County District Attorney investigator framed him.

Now at 72 years old, Maurice stays active in his church and volunteers. In a statement, Maurice said, "No amount of money could ever restore the 38 years of my life that were stolen from me. But this settlement is a welcome end to a very long road, and I look forward to moving on with my life."

This year is almost halfway over and Donald Trump is actively implementing every aspect of Project 2025 by dismantling programs and protections central to Black political and economic progress through a combination of executive orders and policy shifts. These actions have primarily targeted federal workforce diversity, civil and voting rights enforcement, historical narratives of systemic racism, and immigration frameworks.

We cannot stand by without a tactical vigorous response. Start by making sure you, your family and friends are properly registered to vote. Participate in every election from local to state and federal. Vote for those who have your interests at the forefront and when possible run for any office yourself or encourage anyone you know to do so. Join and or support organizations that advance your interests and agenda. Then just don’t vote but hold those you elect accountable to do what they have been sent to do.

These are serious times and we must take action. Prayer is great and is necessary, but faith without corresponding action is dead. Wake up!

HIS IMMEASURABLE LOVE FOR YOU

“We love Him because He first loved us.” ~1 John 4:19

Do you believe that God loves you with an unchanging love today? Even if you’ve just failed or messed up? This is where the rubber meets the road in our walk with God every day. Beyond the shadow of a doubt God loves you with an everlasting, unchanging love. His love for you is unconditional (Titus 3:3–5 NASB). It is a love that is so pure, pristine, and marvelous. It has nothing to do with your performance. It has everything to do with who you are in His eyes—His beloved.

The emphasis of the old covenant of the law was all about what you have to do, whereas the emphasis of the new covenant of grace is all about God’s love for you. The sum total of the law under the old covenant is, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength” (Deut. 6:5, Matt. 22:37, 40). The law was designed to show us that we are incapable of loving God the same that He loves us.

That is why the new covenant is all about God’s love for you and not your love for Him! Under grace, God doesn’t want you to focus your thoughts on, “How much do I love God?” That’s not the focus of the new covenant. Under grace, God wants you to focus on His love for you. Therefore, the question you should always be asking yourself is: “Do I know how much God loves me?”

📌
U.S. Representative Joyce Beatty sued Donald Trump over the renaming of The Kennedy Center and a judge has ruled in her favor. Trump’s name must come off The Kennedy Center within 14 days. He never had the authority to rename it and Beatty made sure that the courts said it out loud.

"The Kennedy Center's organic statute makes crystal clear that the Center is to be named for President John F. Kennedy, and it cannot bear any other formal name or public memorial based on the Board's unilateral say-so," Judge Cooper wrote. "Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name, and only Congress can change it."

Beatty, an Ohio Democrat and Kennedy Center board member, launched the lawsuit in December after being muted and blocked from speaking during a virtual board meeting where Trump allies voted to rename the center over her objection. She refused to let it go, and the courts backed her up. After the ruling, Beatty said, "The Kennedy Center is an institution that belongs to the American people, not to Donald Trump, He has desecrated this sacred memorial for his own vanity. I am proud to have fought for the rule of law and to protect this sacred institution."

The administration now has two weeks to tear down all signage and eliminate every reference to a "Trump Kennedy Center" from official materials. Thank you Representative Beatty for standing up for what’s right, and if God be for you, who can be against you!🙏🏾🙏🏾
