A great planning meeting with officers last night. We are excited about the revitilized school adoption program. We have initiated a relationship with Eutaw Mashburn Elementary, to assist students meet academic proficiency through a collaborative partnership, based on academic and character principles with the school, parents, and community. We are seeking additional members of the masonic family to assist.

Had a fantastic night raising money for Domestic Violence Prevention at the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Maryland! Wheww...what a party! Last night we held our popular Pre-Valentine Day Cabaret! Thanks to the all who made this event successful including the Most Worshipful Grand Master Lee Taylor, District Deputy Grand Master Reggie Brown, RW Kevin Dixon, RW Albert Queen, RW Kevin Dixon, SW Alan Wallace, JW Glenn Love, Past Masters, friends, J & T Quality Photographers, Dena C. Martin of Finishing Touches Accessories, DJ Scrappy, Fields-Good Pies, and all our guests! We can't wait for next year!!

On Thursday, WM Fields, SW Alan Wallace, JW Glenn Love, and Brother Jerry Brinkley represented Saint James Lodge No. 2 in the Annual Bea Gaddy Thanksgiving Meal. The crew of four, later joined by a few other volunteers, armed with two pickup trucks delivered approximately 700 meals to Baltimore area senior citizen homes in time for Thanksgiving Dinner. "This kinda work, builds Brotherhood!", said the SW. The crew, who promptly responded to the 5:30 AM muster in Patterson Park, worked seamlessly, to help handle the lion's share of meals under this joint region effort that lasted until 3:30 PM. We also shout out the work of brothers from Saint Johns No. 5, Hannibal 8, Eden 72, and Samuel J Ennis 106. Please offer the brothers a well deserved congratulations and well done.
